Purpose and Scope
This policy sets out how Caraglass Ltd T/A Zeeko promotes equality, diversity, and inclusion in every aspect of our business. We are committed to providing a workplace and service environment that is fair, respectful, and free from discrimination.
This policy applies to all employees, contractors, consultants, agency workers, and volunteers; all job applicants and interview candidates; and all clients, suppliers, and business partners.
Legal Framework
This policy complies with the Equality Act 2010, which protects individuals from discrimination and promotes equal opportunities. The Act identifies nine protected characteristics:

Policy Statement
At Caraglass Ltd T/A Zeeko, we believe that a diverse and inclusive workforce strengthens our company and enhances the quality of our service to clients.
We will:

Responsibilities
Management:
- Lead by example, promoting fairness, respect, and inclusion in all decisions;
- Ensure recruitment, pay, and promotion processes are free from bias;
- Act promptly on any complaints or concerns related to discrimination or harassment.
Employees:
- Treat colleagues, clients, and suppliers with respect;
- Avoid any behaviour that could be seen as discriminatory or harassing;
- Report any incidents of unfair treatment or bullying immediately.
HR / Compliance Representative:
- Maintain and review this policy in line with changes in law or best practice;
- Keep records of recruitment and training to monitor equality outcomes;
- Support employees who raise equality or diversity concerns.
Recruitment and Employment
We are committed to fair recruitment and employment practices:
- Job descriptions and adverts will be written clearly and focus on skills and experience;
- We will ensure selection processes are objective and non-discriminatory;
- We will make reasonable adjustments to accommodate candidates with disabilities;
- Pay, benefits, and promotion decisions will be based on merit and performance only.
Training and Awareness
All employees will receive induction training on equality, diversity, and inclusion. Managers will be provided additional guidance on recognising and reducing unconscious bias and on applying fair, consistent practices in their teams.
Harassment and Bullying
Harassment, bullying, or victimisation of any kind will not be tolerated. Examples include offensive jokes, slurs, exclusion, or unwanted behaviour linked to a protected characteristic. Complaints will be handled confidentially, and appropriate action will be taken in line with our disciplinary procedure.
Monitoring and Review
We will:
- Review employment and training data annually to identify any equality issues;
- Listen to feedback from employees and clients about inclusivity;
- Update this policy every two years, or sooner if legislation or company circumstances change.
Breach of Policy
Any employee who breaches this policy may face disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal. We take allegations of discrimination or harassment seriously and will investigate all complaints fairly and promptly.
